Jane Frankland

CISO Advisor, Speaker, Author & Champion for Women | Cyber Security Capital

Jane Frankland is an award-winning entrepreneur, speaker and author. She is the Founder of Cyber Security Capital, a training, mentoring and networking company, which specializes in soft skills and entrepreneurship. She works with a wide range of clients from leaders at listed multinationals and fast-growth startups to practitioners, consultants and subject matter experts.

Jane has over 20-years worth of experience in cyber security and in 2017 was named as the third most influential person in cyber security in the UK. Over the years, she has built and sold her own global penetration testing firm, Corsaire, and held executive positions at several large consultancies. Jane has helped create, launch and been actively involved in major accreditation schemes and forums, including OWASP, CREST and Cyber Essentials. She is currently serving as an SC Awards judge for Europe and the USA, and a CISO Board Advisor. She authors many articles and is regularly featured in leading security publications and iconic British media. She has a BA (Hons) in Woven Textile Design and is a Fellow of the Institute of Sales and Marketing Managers (ISMM).

Jane is driven by her three children, an obsession to deliver outstanding quality and to make a positive difference in the world. Believing passionately in entrepreneurship, freedom and empowerment her vision is to strengthen cyber space with an optimised, diverse cyber security workforce. It’s why she authored IN Security, and created the movement and community that stands behind a mission to connect, inspire and empower cyber security professionals.
